*Burn your gel candle on a protected level surface.

*Always protect furniture from the heat of a burning gel candle
  with a candle plate or coaster.

*Never burn your gel candle too close to flammables, including
  silk plants, curtains and lampshades.

*Never burn your gel candle in a drafty area.

*Never burn your gel candle in a container that is chipped or
  cracked.

*DO NOT extinguish your gel candle with water.

*Always use caution when handling your warm gel candle, let gel
  and glass candle container cool before handling.

*Between use, trim wick to 1/4 of an inch before burning again.

*Keep your gel candle free of dust and foreign matter, replace
  lid/dust cover after gel candle cools.
