TEALIGHT
Gel tealights are poured in small recyclable acrylic tealight cups. They can be used as a stand alone gel candle or in a refillable gel candle.

VOTIVE
A small glass container usually about 1½ inches in diameter and 2-3 inches high.

TART / MELT
A heavily scented gel tart that you can use in any tart or oil burner.

BURN RATE
The burn rate is the amount of gel consumed per hour. The burn rate is 9 - 10 hours per ounce of gel.

FRAGRANCE OIL
Combinations of synthetic and natural aroma chemicals blended to create scented oil for use in candles, bath products and other aroma products.

MELT POOL
Refers to the pool of melted gel that forms around the wick of a burning gel candle.

EMBEDS
Items that are embedded in gel candles such as marbles, gems, sand, and seashells just to name a few.

SINGLE GLASS CONTAINER
Some gel candles have just the outside glass container and this holds the gel and the wick. The gel is completely consumed and is not refillable. These gel candles are called burnable.

BURNABLE
Once your gel candles center has been consumed you cannot refill.

DOUBLE GLASS CONTAINER
Some gel candles have a votive in the center, the outside glass container has gel and embeds in it and in the center is a glass votive container which holds the wick and a gel tealight for burning. These gel candles are called refillable.

REFILLABLE
Your gel candles center glass votive can be refilled by inserting an acrylic gel tealight refill.
